**About the role**

Balmain Care For Kids' is seeking passionate and experienced Diploma Educators to join our dynamic and dedicated team. As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young children through high-quality early childhood education and care. This is a full-time opportunity based in our Balmain, NSW location.

**What you'll be doing**
- Delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children aged 6 weeks-2.5 years
- Collaborating with the team to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child
- Effectively communicating with families and building strong partnerships to support children's learning and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
- Participating in team meetings, professional development opportunities and continuous quality improvement processes

**What we're looking for**
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) working as an Educator in a long day care or outside school hours care setting
- Strong understanding of child development and the ability to create and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
- A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
