I am currently partnered with a large organisation in Geelong who values their customers, community and stakeholders. My Client is currently seeking a Connections Officer for a 6 month full time temporary assignment to cover a period of leave.

**Your new role**

As the Connections Officer, you will work standard business hours from Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work from home on occasion.

As the Connections Officer, you will:

- Provide technical and costing advice to property owners, consultants, architects, builders and other departments regarding connection requirements:

- Administer fees and charges
- Directly manage the interface with customers via front counter (face-to-face) and telephone enquiries as required
- Provide assistance to other departments in relation to matters of connection
- Prepare documentation, including standard letters
- Provide assistance to customers in matters of development, trade waste and water conservation and refer to other sections as required
- Provide administrative support through data entry and processing

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the Connections Officer, you will have:

- Experience in a Customer Service within a service based organisation
- Great communication and presentation
- High level of administrative skills including IT proficiency
- Ability to remain organise with great time management
- Able to work in fast paced environments
- Excellent problem solver

**Please note, to be considered for this role, you must undergo a National Criminal History check and show proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status.
