**About the role**
In this role, you will engage wth young people across the Geelong region (aged between 12-25) bringing them together to participate in programs designed to provide them with a single point of contact to connect with the people, programs and services they require. You will plan and deliver all aspects of youth HUBS in identified locations, facilitating a variety of programs, activities and events that connect young people to local HUBS.

This is a permanent Part Time role (20hrs per week - 0.52FTE)

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and deliver activities and programs that connect young people to HUBS.
- Design and develop activities and engagement programs that focus on Health and Social equity, incorporating Youth Social Inclusion Groups across all Youth HUBS and community Drop Ins
- Facilitate new and innovative processes and activities with young people that strengthen networks and opportunities to participate
- Share resources, provide advice and raise awareness of issues relating to access and inclusiveness of services for young people both within and beyond council.
- Provide high levels of supervision of large numbers of young people and ability to manage critical incidents

**About you**

Essential Experience:

- Experience in the area of youth development and significant experience in youth engagement, planning, development and implementation of community development and/or youth programs.
- Knowledge of the youth work sector and the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders and networks
- Experience in developing and delivering events, inclusive of diverse cohorts of young people
- Extensive experience in facilitating and working with groups of young people using a youth participatory framework.
- An understanding of research principles and methodologies particularly in the youth and community development areas.
- Tertiary qualifications in the Social Work, Youth Work and/or a relevant field
