**About our Role**:
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic and growing business. Reporting to the Finance Manager - Retail, you will be a trusted business partner to the Retail Sales team, providing financial information and insights to support effective management and strategic decision-making across the Commercial function. This will include being responsible for providing insights and support to positively impact business performance for key categories and customers through exemplary finance leadership.

**What you will you do**:

- Partner with the Retail Sales team in the development and execution of the channel strategic priorities across categories and customers, providing commercial insights on the drivers of category/customer performance and profitability
- Develop robust financial modelling to support the delivery of commercial value including through customer negotiations, new contracts, and product launches (NPI)
- Support for budgeting, forecasting and performance management, including promotional spend effectiveness and trade spend efficiency
- Provide analysis, evaluations and implications of key learnings that will be applied in the development of future best practices
- Build financial awareness and knowledge across the Commercial team and provide thought leadership on matters impacting financial performance

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex and large organisation ideally within FMCG and/or Retail
- Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
- Excellent presentation and visualisation skills (story telling)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines and influence others to meet deadlines
- Experience with business budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Experience with financial modelling and analysis
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of financial systems (SAP/JDE) and proficiency in BI tools (Power BI/Axiom) preferable but not essential
