Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking confident and enthusiastic maintenance fitters to join their client located in the Northern Suburbs.

**Details about the client**:
Our client is an industry leader in the FMCG packaging and production of cardboard for boxing solutions.

**Detailed job description**:
This maintenance role will consist of fault finding and continuous improvement processes to identify weak points and ensure strict maintenance schedules are adhered to.

**Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Preventative maintenance of machines on site
- Repairing and fault finding on machines
- Fault analysis of industrial packaging equipment
- Completion of daily line set-ups according to schedule and standard set-up procedures
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- General maintenance, repairing and fabrication as required
- Fitting replacement components from off the shelf stores inventory

- Trade Qualifications (in engineering/mechanical discipline relevant to role)
- Current Forklift Licence and/or Elevated Work Platform Licence
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proven Maintenance experience
- Proven experience in fault finding
- Good understand and compliance of OHS in the workplace
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Have an eye for continuous improvement.
