Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) is a major provider of healthcare in the South Gippsland Shire. GSHS offers a broad range of services that meet the needs of a diverse and sparsely populated area. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.**About the Role**
The key objective of this position is to provide efficient and effective support to Allied Health Practitioners, programs and services in order to enhance the delivery of treatment for Community and Allied Health clients.**About**
**You**
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Good computer and literacy skills.
- A good understanding and awareness of the Active Service Model and Diversity.
- Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.-
**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : I have had at least my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or if I am successful in obtaining this role, I am willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine before commencing.
- Desirable : Must have an interest in allied health and working towards or completed Cert III or Cert IV in AHA, or similar qualification
- Desirable : Organisational, problem solving and time management skills.
- Desirable : Good computer and literacy skills.
- Desirable : A good understanding and awareness of the Active Service Model and Diversity.
