With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.**About the Role**
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our Allied Health team. The position offers a breadth of experience which may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, home visiting and services to residential care facilities; together with health promotion activities for both consumers and staff at GSHS.**About You**
- As a dietitian at GSHS you will:
- Have appropriate qualification in Dietetics and Nutrition and be eligible for membership to DA.
- Provide exceptional service delivery in the dietetics department.
- Have the capacity to further develop your clinical skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Like the challenge of a variety of caseloads.
- Enjoy gaining knowledge and improving clinical practices.

- Essential : I have had my COVID-19 vaccine, or if I am successful in obtaining this role, I am willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine (3) before commencing.
- Essential : An appropriate qualification in Dietetics and Nutrition approved by the Dietetics Association of Australia and be eligible for membership to DAA.
- Essential : Exposure to clinical experience to enable a complete general Dietetics and Nutrition Service to be offered to Gippsland Southern Health Service and regional communities.
- Desirable : Knowledge of issues/culture of a rural community and understanding of role in a predominantly rural area with its attendant issues.
