**About the role**

Join the dynamic team at Total Smiles Dental as a Casual Dental Assistant. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to patients in our modern practices located in Fawkner and Craigieburn, VIC.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing the treatment room, sterilising instruments, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available
- Providing excellent patient care by greeting patients, ensuring their comfort, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintaining accurate patient records, including charting, treatment notes, and scheduling appointments
- Carrying out a range of administrative tasks, such as answering phone inquiries, processing payments, and ordering supplies
- Adhering to all infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

**What we're looking for**
- Formal qualification in Dental Assisting or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of the practice

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38 per week
