The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing extensive media strategies in order to gain the maximum level of favourable publicity for the Nine Broadcast businesses in Queensland.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop and execute publicity strategies for Nine Network, Nine Radio, and Radio 4BC.
- Build strong relationships with media, identifying and maximizing publicity opportunities.
- Write media releases and provide program information and images to media.
- Manage launches, photo shoots, talent appearances, and media interviews professionally.
- Coordinate with Network publicists, create new publicity avenues, and maintain databases.
- Lead the team by setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of trust.
- Promote safety and collaboration, ensuring open communication across the team.

**Qualifications**
Experience in a communications or publicity role in the media industry is critical. This is a senior role as part of Nine's Brisbane based leadership team and you'll also work closely with Nine's national leadership team - requiring a high level of stakeholder management skills.

Additional requirements:

- A confident communicator and presenter.
- Strong writing, editing, proof-reading, layout and design skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends across the media landscape, including digital/social media.
- Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
