Sample Reception Officer

Maxima are seeking an experienced Sample Reception Officer to join their client to assist the Customer Engagement Leader with customer management and assist with inbound/outbound logistics to drive efficient and effective customer service delivery.

This role is a hybrid with the work involving laboratory testing and data collection/ reporting.

Casual hourly pay of $33.75 + super based in Darra.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Receive and register samples in accordance with documented procedures
- Manage external reports and communications
- Manipulate and transfer data reports between systems
- Issue sample containers, associated documentation
- Organise delivery of samples to appropriate labs within specific timeframes
- Respond to enquiries and issues
- Perform basic washing duties for chemistry and microbiology glassware
- Prepare and stock laboratory glassware and containers in accordance with documented procedures, and dispatch sample containers, equipment and associated documentation to customers as required
- Provide courier duties to deliver or collect samples from clients when requested

**To Be Successful**:

- Current C class driver's license
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Scientific knowledge and/or experience
- Basic understanding of chemistry/microbiology/environmental monitoring protocols to prepare glassware and bottles required for analysis
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Understanding of quality assurance principles as applied to a NATA accredited laboratory
