What you’ll do:
Your role will have a focus on the customer service experience both in the tasting room and at offsite events.
- Manage the day to day operations of the venue
- Lead and develop our small team with a “hands on” approach
- Maintain high standards for venue set up, service and cleanliness
- Recruitment, training and rostering staff
- Interacting with all customers in a friendly, sincere and energetic manner
- Taking and processing customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Presenting a comprehensive knowledge of Mountain’s product range, and articulating that product information to customers to assist their ordering
- Resolving any complaints immediately
- Collaborating with marketing team to utilise digital marketing, social media and website updates to promote the venue
- Manage any special events and functions at the venue
- Responsible for growing revenue and managing costs to achieve budget
- Provide input and assistance for improvements to venue design, fit out and operations

What you’ll bring:

- Strong passion for the hospitality industry, and ideally craft spirits
- Previous hospitality experience either as venue manager, venue supervisor or assistant venue manager
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and respond to individual customer needs
- Hold a current Victorian RSA certificate
- Highly developed communication skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work quickly and safely with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and think on your feet under pressure
- Experience with stock control, rostering and managing labour costs
- Commitment to progression of self, team and the venue

When you’ll work:

- Friday, Saturday, Sunday (flexible working hours based on weekly rostering requirements)
