
Project Support Officer

**This role utilises a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level financial support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of QTRIP project/s while ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with cost centre reporting (including accounts payable /receivable) to ensure accurate tracking, and to indicate the overall financial position and provide early warning of deviations.
- Provide basic financial advice for example, taxation - FBT, entertainment expenses, corporate card purchases, wages and so on.
- Prepare financial documentation for example journals and goods receipting of invoices.
- Effectively contribute to the timely and accurate processing of invoices and expenditure related transactions, raising purchase requisitions, and maintaining vendor details.
- Use a variety of generic software packages for example: Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook and so on.
- Assist in the improvement of local work practices to meet regional office needs and to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Provide on the job financial training on a one-to-one basis or in a small forum as required.
- Assist with employee timesheet queries, amendments as required, and advising on accurate time recording and dissections.
Desirable requirements:
- Current holder of a Class C driver's licence.
- Demonstrated knowledge in a project support role.
- It would be highly desirable (but not mandatory) to have experience in the SAP and ExpenseMe Pro databases.
