Our client is currently looking for a Trades Assistant or Semi Skilled individual with the ability to use fine measuring equipment, such as internal and external Micrometers.

They are particularly looking for a Trades Assistant who has been working in a metal Machining workshop and would like the opportunity to become a Machine Operator.

You may currently be working in a heavy industrial factory and have a desire to advance your career.

**You should be able to bring the following**:
1. Have experience in using a 5 ton overhead crane.

2. Have some experience using both metric and Imperial Micrometers and Vernier calipers.

3. Be able to use basic hand tools, angle grinders and die grinders.

4. The ability to maintain cleanliness of a work station.

5. A methodical approach to mechanical tasks IE: Be organised

6. A focus and dedication to the job at hand

7. A genuine desire to learn new skills

8. Be punctual, fit and healthy and available for up to 54 hours per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Use of fine measuring micrometers: 1 year (required)
- Industrial Workshop: 1 year (preferred)

- Full Driver Licence (required)
