**About**
Our client is a 90 year established, market leading organisation based in Perth. Hydraulic Components are the cornerstone and focus of their business. Their success has been based on an exceptional team of staff, who are both passionate and committed to providing a premium service.
**The Role**
They are currently are looking to employ a Workshop Planner to join their fast paced, multi-disciplinary team in their Perth workshop. The workshop flow is controlled by a planning database that enables scheduling focused on hours available to be managed effectively.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will interpret information and instructions to plan and schedule jobs to flow through our workshop process. You will need to liaise with supervisory and logistics personnel to establish priorities and delivery schedules.
**Duties**
- Support their team of workshop supervisors to control the flow of ongoing repairs.
- Schedule the assessment and repair process of hydraulic and related components.
- Tracking the status of outstanding jobs as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with trades and workshop staff to deliver successful job repairs and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and company policy.
**Key Skills and Experience**
- Preferred experience in estimating, planning and scheduling.
- Clear communication skills and good computer literacy.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Experience in working with hydraulics, or heavy engineering would be highly regarded.
- A current C Class Driver’s License.
