Reporting to the Client Safeguarding Manager, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of assault, abuse and neglect of Sunnyfield clients. You will be documenting and reporting those investigations in accordance with legislative requirements and Sunnyfield’s Policies and Procedures.

This is a full time role, with a hybrid working model. The role is based at Allambie Heights, with some travel involved.

**About the role**
Conducting professional and objective investigations into allegations of assault, abuse, exploitation and neglect of Sunnyfield clients

Developing correspondence, briefings and investigation reports in a timely manner

Providing timely and accurate status updates

Completing mandatory reports to relevant regulatory agencies, as per legislative requirements

Supporting all staff in understanding their role as mandatory reporters

Preparing reports for senior management and the Sunnyfield Board

Assisting in the delivery of training

Maintaining accurate and timely investigation notes and records

**About you**
Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Law Enforcement, Welfare, Community Development, or related discipline

Certificate IV in Investigations (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum three years’ experience conducting investigations. This includes obtaining and drafting witness statements, conducting interviews, compiling briefs of evidence, and drafting comprehensive investigation reports

Experience in dealing with people from a range of backgrounds, including liaising with regulatory bodies

Ability to co-ordinate work and prioritise tasks

Have strong written communication and interpersonal skills
