**Exciting opportunity to join SA’s iconic RAA**:

- **Casual Position based at Mile End**:

- **Requires primarily Saturday availability with additional hours during the week to cover demand and, as needed to cover leave**

RAA have a fantastic casual position available This role includes assessing the mobility and safety needs of children in vehicles and providing relevant advice and services. You will also collect data on transportation issues relating to children in vehicles to advocate on their behalf. As a key member of the team you will:

- Deliver exceptional and professional service to members and internal/external customers by identifying, responding to and satisfying their needs;
- Assess children, restraints and the vehicle, and provide both legislative and technical advice/information along with appropriate recommendations;
- Install appropriate child restraints into vehicles, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions in a timely manner;
- Assist in day to day operations of Safety Centre, including, but not limited to, enquiries, sales, printing of resources and tidying of store.

**About you**

At RAA we hire on cultural add first and technical fit second, however, to be successful in this role you will need:

- Customer service experience;
- A certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or part thereof e.g. Train the Trainer) is desirable;
- Knowledge of installation of child restraints preferable;
- Knowledge of parts of Road Traffic Act, Australian Road Rules and Regulations relevant to the restraint of children in vehicles preferable.

Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively with people of various ages is critical to the success of this role, as is your strong motivation and organisational skills.
