What’s on offer?

Our Infrastructure Services business is now seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support our Major Projects team based in Eight Mile Plains. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring an effective safety culture, by aligning our “Living Safely” ethos, and driving compliance with WHS legislation.

Responsibilities include, (but are not limited to):

- Educating, and driving awareness of Fulton Hogan Living Safely Policy, Procedures, Processes and SWMS.
- Conducting audits, site inspections and safety walks.
- Managing incident investigation, reports and recommending practical actions to prevent recurrences and sharing learning with other Fulton Hogan Regions.
- Supporting risk identification and management processes to improve worker risk awareness of their work activities.
- Participating in system surveillance and reaccreditation audits, AS, ISO and FSC audits.
- Designing and delivering safety, plant, and equipment training.

We are seeking proven experience gained from other top or mid-tier contractors that deliver either construction or engineering maintenance projects in the Civil, Asphalt, Airport or Mining industries with a strong commitment to a Living Safely culture. Your tertiary qualification(s) in Health and Safety, knowledge of ICAM or TapRoot, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills will set you up for success. Furthermore, your positive, engaging, and solutions-oriented attitude will allow you to quickly make an impact.
