The Resources Sector Lead, under the broad direction of the General Manager Energy & Resources, is the primary customer-facing point of contact within the Bureau for the resources sector.

You will have a strong track record in government-industry engagement and business solutions capabilities. You will also have a strong track record of building deep and trusted customer relationships and delivering an outstanding experience for customers.

The Resources Sector Lead will engage with people across the Bureau and the sector to facilitate targeted working groups and build a consensus to deliver on defined activities and outcomes. You will also need to draw on your leadership and management skills to lead a geographically dispersed team.

A strong understanding of Australia's resources sector nationally, with a focus on the North West Shelf Oil and Gas Industry client base in Western Australia, as well as the Bureau's products and services - including the Bureau's tropical cyclone expertise - is highly desirable.
