**The Role**

We are currently supporting a global mining organisation to source an experienced Internal Audit Lead. You will play a key role in ensuring the Internal Audit teams strategic objectives are met, as well as taking ownership of the delivery of the Internal Audit Plan. You'll be responsible for working with and overseeing Analysts to plan, scope, deliver the internal audits and draft internal audit reports. Additional responsibilities include assisting with ad-hoc investigations and training and coaching of junior team members.

- You will be experienced in leading audits end to end across a variety of audit topics
- You will be able to produce high quality written reports for senior audiences
- You will have demonstrable experience working in complex environments, utilising your problem solving skills to deal with ambiguity effectively
- You will have experience leading teams and coaching junior members of the Internal Audit team
- Experience leading internal audits end to end in the energy/mining/resources sector would be advantageous but is not essential
