We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Kitchen Hands for our Mertome** **Aged Care and Retirement Village** **in Bayswater on a Permanent Part-Time basis**,** who will provide assistance in the kitchen preparing meals and cleaning the kitchen.

**To be successful in this position you will possess the following**:

- Experience working within a large scale production kitchen
- IDDSI guideline experience (desirable but not essential)
- HACCP Certificate (desirable but not essential)
- Relevant work experience in a similar role (dishwashing, food preparation)
- Ability to work as a team player with strong communication and computer skills
- An understanding and ability to demonstrate food safe practices within a high risk processing operation
- Compassionate, dedicated and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with consumers
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received this year’s influenza vaccination
- Full Australian working rights
