We’re looking for an experienced **Solution Designer** to lead critical migration and integration projects, modernise legacy data systems, and deliver robust, high-performing solutions for a leading financial services organisation.

**What you’ll do**:

- Design and implement **scalable data solutions** using Informatica IDMC/CDI, PowerCenter, and related ETL tools.
- Lead solution design for **migration and re-platforming projects**, including data analysis, impact assessments, and detailed flow diagrams.
- Modernise and re-engineer **legacy data warehouses and ETL workflows** into efficient, future-ready architectures.
- Build and optimise complex **ETL pipelines** ensuring performance, integrity, and scalability across on-prem and hybrid environments.
- Streamline deployments through **CI/CD practices** (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions).
- Provide **technical leadership and mentoring**, sharing best practices with the wider team.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Senior-level experience in **data engineering and solution design** with deep expertise in **Informatica (IDMC/CDI, PowerCenter)**.
- Proven success delivering **large-scale migrations, re-platforming, or modernization projects**.
- Strong background working with **legacy platforms** (Oracle, DB2, custom systems) and **RDBMS** (Oracle, Postgres, SQL/PL-SQL).
- Knowledge of **data modelling** (relational, dimensional, operational) and governance (row/column-level security).
- Familiarity with **Agile practices** (JIRA, Confluence).
- Exposure to **data visualisation tools** (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
