Solution Designer

**How will I help?**
**_Work closely with Architects, IT teams, Infrastructure Engineers, Database Administrators and Vendor (ACI): _**Ensure the project meets the needs of the business and is aligned to the overall strategy by:
- Supporting the Solution Architect in understanding current state of PRM and create solution designs from Architectural designs
- Ensuring Vendor (ACI) design meets Westpac requirements and provide technical consultancy to the vendor
- Engaging with Testing SMEs to define test cases for test automation
- Confirm the operational service management of designs are fit for purpose
- Working closely with Oracle DBA’s on Database migration
- Reviewing and revising documentation in light of any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
- Supporting training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall solution
**_Best practice and compliance _**_: _Understand and adhere to enterprise methodologies and processes such as the Project Execution Framework (PEFm) and Agile Execution Framework (AEF).

**What do I need?**
Essential
- 3-5 years of Solution Design, data analysis, system functional / non-functional analysis experience
- Strong knowledge in solution architecture, system design and IT practices
- Experience with systems development, support and maintenance, especially in systems integration
- Advanced analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Facilitation of technology design workshops involving participants from senior management to business users
- Unix, Oracle,
Preferred
- PRM (3+ Years)
- Financial industry experience
- Experience with major programs or projects
- Experience in fraud management products and process
- Familiarity with development and execution of large-scale platform migrations
