The role: *
The People & Culture Advisor plays a key role in the People & Culture team. As an experienced generalist, the Advisor provides the end-to-end Human Resources service including valuable advice, coaching, workplace relations, recruitment, and retention of all team members, both Staff and Field based employees.

Partnering closely with the General Manager, this role is part the NSW Leadership team as well as the national People and Culture team who are high performing and leading in Human Resources contemporary practices.

Based in the Western Sydney office, with regular travel to Newcastle, this hands-on role supports a full range of HR projects and initiatives to assist the NSW business.
**You will have experience in the following**:

- Experience as a Human Resources generalist in a large or medium operations business such as Mining, Construction or Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of employment law, specifically for NSW
- Experience recruiting high volume and/or blue-collar workers
- Experience with HRIS and/or LMS
- Experience managing performance and disciplinary processes
- Experience with the Fair Work Commission (desirable)
- Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Coaching and advisory skills
- Able to work within the team and autonomously
- High level attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Facilitation skills, program design highly regarded
- Highly organised with excellent time management
