Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for people and a strong understanding of the retail industry? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and have a track record of building strong relationships with retail teams?
As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring store employees are engaged, motivated, and equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with store managers and leaders, providing them with expert HR guidance and support to drive the success of retail operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers, providing them with HR guidance and support.
- Assist in talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and development.
- Work on employee engagement initiatives, helping to create a positive work culture within stores.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-driven decisions.
- Implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, and best practices to store teams.
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives at the store level.
- Handle employee relations issues with sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in talent acquisition and employee engagement strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Workday and/or other HRIS system experience.
**This role will be based in Melbourne with the potential of relocating to Sydney within 6 months**
