Reporting to the AU Director of Team Experience, this role focuses on promoting our company culture by implementing regional projects that will enhance Princess Polly's position as a ‘best in class’ employer, as well as providing operational HR leadership, guidance and coaching to the team at our corporate headquarters.
We’re looking for someone who likes to keep their finger on the pulse. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the regional workforce with touch points across the full bandwidth of the employee life-cycle, onboarding through offboarding. You will provide support to leaders and team members across various HR operational areas and people-related matters including performance management, employee relations (ER) issues and award compliance.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong passion for making a tangible and visible impact on the business daily, with a focus on customer satisfaction and compliance excellence.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Lead the HQ TX team currently comprising of a Community Manager and a Facilities Manager
- Deliver engagement excellence across all functional HR services
- Provide advice, coaching and support on a broad range of ER/IR issues and practices, offering respectful human centric solutions in line with business priorities and in accordance with relevant government policies, legislation and industrial awards
- Undertake performance management and conflict resolution activities to support a thriving workplace culture
- Oversee WHS, Workcover claims, rehabilitation, return-to-work plans and incident investigations ensuring that the health, safety & welfare of our team is a priority at all times
- Take ownership of the AU EAP ensuring wellness and health are always front of mind
- Support and manage transactional changes throughout the employee life-cycle including induction and offboarding
- Undertake HR analysis and reporting for senior business leadership on a regular basis
- On an ad hoc basis, develop and implement projects and improvement initiatives
- Partner with the Global TX team to play your part in driving engagement initiatives ensuring we’re providing the highest level of service
- Partner with AU TX team to workshop regional challenges and areas of opportunity to develop long-term strategic solutions aligned to the overall roadmap
- Support the implementation of the people strategy by aligning regional team with the businesses strategic and operational goals
- Maintain currency with the latest TX expertise and legislation.

**Ideal Experience**:
- Minimum 5 + years HR experience with at least 1 + in a leadership capacity
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related relevant discipline
- Up to date knowledge of current ER, IR & WHS legislation
- Strong people management skills with a proven track record of business partnership, personal development and coaching
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly at all levels of the organisation.
