Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM and PM shifts. To learn more about us: Aged Care Provider - Redefining a New Generation of Residential Care This role based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines duties and accountabilities for this role - Lifestyle is what is this role is commonly called in the Aged Care sector. Duties expand across inter-generational & youth programs, companion support, physio and mobility, activities and daytrips and joining our inhouse "community of practice" education classes across dementia, wound & infection management, falls and mobility management and palliative care. **_ About You_** At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.
