**Your New Role**:
The Senior Technical Lead in the AI Team at AustralianSuper will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and technical direction of AI initiatives, with a particular focus on Generative AI use cases. This role is essential in ensuring the successful design, development, and deployment of innovative AI solutions that enhance member experiences and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the development of high-performing, scalable AI models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ethical guidelines, and staying at the forefront of AI technology through research and experimentation. The Technical Lead will also collaborate with the Delivery Lead to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

**Key duties include but are not limited to**:

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AI technologies, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with a focus on Generative AI.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a technical team.
- Strategic Oversight: Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure AI solutions adhere to relevant regulations and company standards, emphasizing ethical AI practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for AI solutions.
- Implementation of Best Practices: Champion AI best practices in project execution and delivery, ensuring consistency and quality.Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in AI, particularly in Generative AI.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in AI and machine learning, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading AI projects from conception to completion, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to AI and data privacy.
- Experience in conducting research and experimentation on new AI methodologies and tools.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into business processes.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning techniques.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML services.
