Additional Information:

- This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
- In this role you will have a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts (from 7:00am to 9:00pm).
- You have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

**About this work area**
As Unit Food Operations Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Drive the Food department within our unit, to provide a seamless food offer to our co-workers, onsite visitors, and contractors.
- Lead and coach the operations team in optimising and developing the IKEA Food business by securing the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance, and people & planet positive in all IKEA touchpoints.
- Manage the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of your team.
- Secure processes and procedures to ensure quality of food, food safety, excellence in operations and reduce waste.
- Implement global and national compliance standards, managing the food supply chain and range competence within the department.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management and ordering of supplies.
- Secure an irresistible food offer by designing menus, ensuring quality and an appealing range presentation.

- An experienced and inspirational leader who can bring out the best in your team and have an inherent nature to develop and nurture growth in people.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience communicating across all levels of the business and internal/external stakeholder management.
- Great attention to detail to ensure a high standard of work is produced with prior experience in managing costs, budgets, and resources/rosters.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines with excellent awareness of food safety, hygiene, WHS & manual handing standards is required.
