**About the opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Officer Protocol to join our Events and Sister Cities team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role would be primarily looking after all of our awards and ceremonies programs.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Certificate IV in a relevant field
- Suitable experience and knowledge of event operation
- Thorough working knowledge and experience in coordinating Citizenship Ceremonies
- Availability to work flexible working hours, especially on weekends
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Current class C driver's licence.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,566.49 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
