**About the Role**

Reporting to the Reception Team Leader/ Practice Manager, this specialist receptionist role is a permanent part time position working a 3 - 4 days per week (24-32 hours) on a rotating roster that includes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The Job location will be Hurstville but flexibility with working hours and willingness to move between our practice in Miranda is essential. All locations have on-site parking and are close to public transport.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Meeting and greeting patients
- Answering the phone and booking appointments
- Patient billing and receipting
- Liaising with Medicare and DVA
- Banking and general office duties
- Liaise with all levels of medical professionals, administration staff and patients.
- Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the clinic
- Relationship management with health practitioners

**Skills, experience and attributes required**:

- Previous medical receptionist experience
- Knowledge of Genie software preferred but not essential
- Customer focused
- Fast and accurate typing skills, with attention to detail
- High level of computer literacy (microsoft office products)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and workflow
- Contribute to a professional and supportive/flexible team environment
- A warm, friendly and motivated personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility to cover sick and holiday leave
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

This position is only open to Australian citizens and permanent residents.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
