We believe that you are unique, valuable and vital to the lives of our clients. **What we can offer you** - Bright, bubbly team culture - Flexible shifts, offering a variety of working options to suit your needs/circumstances - Ongoing training and development - long shifts, weekends, sleepover rates available **We are seeking an experienced, proactive and skilled Community Support Workers to join our experienced and highly skilled team in and around Sydney Metropolitan.** The successful applicant will be positive, reliable and resilient and will be experienced in supporting clients with a complex profile. You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing high quality support that builds capacity and encourages clients to increase their skills and independence. **Your Role** - Use initiative to enhance someone's quality of life - Provide support that is person centred and enables each client to express choice and control in the types of support and activities offered - Duties could include: medication support, personal care, domestic assistance, manual handling, meal preparation, following support plans, challenging behaviour and complex physical needs. - Be sensitive and understanding to the specific needs of each client paying attention to the cultural needs and preferences of each client **Essential Criteria** - **Driver's License and Own Reliable Car is a must**: - Collaborating in a team setting - Understanding the issues faced by people who are ageing and/or have a disability - Demonstrated experience in building rapport and trust with people - **At least 6 months experience working with people with complex needs**: - Ability to work on a rotating roster - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Quality Health Care are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity, Ethical Practices, and the principles of Cultural Diversity.
