We are seeking a friendly, **experienced** and efficient Medical Receptionist to join our clinic, MedFirst Medical Centre in Hurstville, NSW. Able to start ASAP.

Flexible working conditions. Casual position available.

Looking for flexibility, but timings to start are for any of the following:

- Weeknights, Fridays day time and early evening.

Friendly and professional environment.

6 GP Doctors on site, Specialists, Allied Health, Aesthetics Clinic. We try and stay up to date with technology to provide patients with the best quality of care possible and making it easy for them to access, whilst also assisting staff with day to day operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and other callers at the Practice in a courteous and efficient manner, answer telephone promptly and courteously.
- Make appointments for patients following set procedures.
- Issue patients invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required.
- Enter and update patient registrations on our software.
- Deal with referring doctors, hospital staff, pharmacists etc courteously and helpfully.
- Attend to account queries if possible or refer problem to Practice Manager.
- Exercise confidentiality in regards to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
- Manage work cover invoices and receipts.
- Adhere to daily cleaning tasks.
- Ensure stationary and other documents are correct and current and enough in supply.
- Plus other standard duties here and there.

**Requirements**:

- Must have previous experience working as a medical receptionist.
- Availability for weeknights mainly (sometimes weekdays) and partial weekends in a Casual capacity.
- Best Practice software experience would be preferable.
- Professional, energetic and friendly attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, motivated, efficient, and responsible.
- Excellent customer service skills, including good telephone manners.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good organisation skills.
- Can multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Able to work independently and in collaboration with other staff.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Uphold privacy and confidentiality.
- Well presented.
