You will have the ability to make a real impact, implement initiatives quickly and be creative in delivering solutions. Leading a small but talented HR team, this is a hands on role with responsibility for all aspects of the employee life-cycle from recruitment, on-boarding, engagement, performance, development to off-boarding. 85% of the role will be focused on supporting and partnering with the largest part of the business which is retail operations, warehouse and food production. The remaining 15% will involve assisting our support teams which includes buying, finance, marketing and IT. This family-owned business which has a strong culture of being fast-paced, dynamic and willing to take risks. Our people are able to adapt rapidly whilst remaining resilient and delivering results. We employ a diverse workforce of Harris farmers who have great pride in the business and the teams they work in. We foster the values of everybody is in it together like Christmas week (our busiest trading period). **Skills Needed** - Willingness to work on the “shop floor” to get to understand the business and travel to all our sites regularly (full drivers licence needed and access to a vehicle). - Proven experience as a Business Partner with a good knowledge of working in a similar environment with a mix of blue - and white-collar employees. - Collaborative, objective, and inclusive team leadership style. - Resilient, quick thinking and able to simplify processes with the end user in mind. - Hands-on experience across the full range of human resources function and an in-depth knowledge of Industrial Relations including modern awards. - A self-directed leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who proactively takes ownership of their team and collective results. - A natural coach and mentor with an ability to foster relationships with all levels of the team, to relate well others, to listen effectively, and to help employees at levels to be the best they can be. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Experience of using Dayforce HCM and LiveHire would be advantageous.
