Required for immediate start:
We are looking for female Disability Support Workers to join our Brisbane Team. We have clients in the Redland Bay Area and nearby area who need complex physical care and this might be an oppourtunity for many of you to work closer to home. In this unique role, you will provide a variety of drop-in and personal care support to individuals with physical disabilities in the Brisbane Community.

The successful applicants must be available to work day, late, and night shifts, including active overnight shifts. This is a causal position to start with - happy to negotiate a fixed roster if needed and the shifts are normally 6-9 hours long.

Your main responsibilities will be to help our participants to maintain or attain a good level of independence, assisting with day-to-day activities that enhances their dignity, comfort and lifestyle. A typical shift will involve: Driving (vehicle provided for drop-in shifts), assistance with personal care, bed transfers including using hoists, medication assistance, re-positioning, assistance with feeds, assistance to participate in community activities and many other small tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate 3 and above in disability support or aged care or individual support.
- Experience working as disability support worker or Assistant in Nursing role in Australia.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Experienced in manual handling and peg feeding
- NDIS workers orientation module certificate.
- Blue Card, Yellow Card and Police Check
- Valid 100 points of ID
