Redland, Australia National Disability Support and Care (NDSC) Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support and care to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help individuals with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Assist participants in household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents or changes in behaviour.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support individuals in developing and enhancing their life skills, such as communication, socialization, and problem-solving.
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in disability support.
- Monitor participants' health and report any changes or concerns promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability Care, Community Care, Aged Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PEG-feeding is preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation of individuals (if required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- NDIS Worker Screening Card.
- First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current Police Clearence Certificate.
- NDIS Orientation Module or willing to get one.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Work Location: In person
