The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and guidance to the mailroom team employed at (DBL) Drake Business Logistic's client site based out of Sydney CBD.

Alongside performing all general mailroom duties, the Team Leader is expected to take a leadership position - managing disputes, handling complaints, and resolving issues in the first instance as an initial escalation point.

As Team Leader, this individual will be responsible for ensuring our supplied workforce reflects the professional brand of DBL in their presentation, behavior, and performance.

**General Requirements & Duties**

As the on-site representative of DBL, the Team Leader will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of both mailroom and workforce presentation, along with ensuring each employee is performing their duties in a correct, efficient manner.

Collaborating closely with the Operations Supervisor and Project Manager, the Team Leader will manage all day-to-day operational matters, driving the performance of a team of four Mailroom Operators.

Alongside leadership duties, the Team Leader is expected to perform all Mailroom duties required of their team of Mailroom Operators, including sorting inbound mail, preparing outbound consignments, and performing mail runs.

**Duties are to include**:

- Performing all general mailroom duties at the client site.
- Ensuring the mailroom is appropriately staffed at all times.
- Fostering a high-performance workplace culture.
- Maintaining awareness of all upcoming annual leave to ensure backup personnel are available.
- Maintaining acceptable levels of mailroom cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Resolving minor issues and disputes.
- Employee performance management
- Assistance with preparing management reporting.
- Liaison with Fuji Xerox
- Working with the Operations Supervisor to implement process improvements.
