We are seeking a **friendly and experienced receptionist** to join our team at our stunning **riverfront hotel in Kangaroo Point**. As a receptionist, you will be the face of our hotel, welcoming guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable stay.

**About the Role**:
This is a **full-time position** (9 days per fortnight), including **one day each weekend**. We are seeking someone who can commit to the role for **a minimum of 12 months**.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel services and amenities
- Make reservations and handle cancellations
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Prepare cleaners' roster and linen orders
- Perform **basic repair and maintenance work** as needed
- Carry out **cleaning work** as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a receptionist in a **4-5 star hotel environment**:

- Excellent **communication and customer service skills**:

- Ability to think quickly and **solve problems promptly**:

- Knowledge of hotel **reservation systems and procedures**:

- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**:

- Ability to **work independently and as part of a team**:

- **Basic handyman skills** to assist with routine repair and maintenance tasks
- **Commitment to a minimum 12-month tenure**
