**CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER**

Programmed Timber Supplies is on the lookout for a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our staff in St Mary's on a full-time basis.

**Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
Develop and nurture key customer relationships.
Work towards targets and budgets
Manage inbound and outbound telephone enquiries in a timely manner
Ensuring the timely execution and generation of quotes and sales
Must be able to cross-sell when required
Ability to build rapport and offer expert advice and solutions to the customer
Be persistent and take the initiative to explore and develop opportunities
Maintaining and growing the volume of repeat orders from the existing customer base to ensure daily sales targets are met.
Assist in the preparation and development of monthly Sales and Operations Plan
Lead generation. Support sales team in identifying and qualifying leads.
Identifying product gaps within existing customers
Creating new sales within current customer base
Working close with sales team to implement sales strategies.
Ensuring that customers are happy with both product and service that they receive from Programmed Timber
Technically proficient with products and services offered by Programmed Timber
Updating the CRM with all customer contacts
Communicating with the sales and production team to drive customer satisfaction and delivery performance.

**Requirements and attributes**:
Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in a similar role (Customer Service, Sales Support, etc)
Timber knowledge preferable but not essential
Passionate about sales and reaching targets
Ability to calmly deal with competing priorities
Current Drivers Licence required
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Highly organised
Ability to complete multiple tasks at any given time
To deliver to deadline.
High attention to detail.
Excellent computer literacy and the ability to touch type.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Team player
Be able to meet changing business requirements

**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
