We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced & enthusiastic **Customer Service Officer** to become an essential part of our clients' growing team.

**About the Role**:
FindStaff are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer - Internal Sales, for our client based in St Marys, NSW. Our client is a large timber-processing, service & distribution company who supplies timber to Australian & export markets.

The role will involve developing & nurturing key customer relationships. Managing inbound & outbound telephone enquiries, building rapport and offering expert advice & solutions to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the timely execution and generation of quotes and sales
- Working towards targets and budgets
- Being persistent and taking the initiative to explore and develop opportunities - cross selling when required
- Assisting in the preparation and development of monthly Sales and Operations Plan
- Lead generation: Supporting the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads.
- Identifying product gaps & creating new sales within existing customer base
- Working closely with sales team to implement sales strategies.
- Ensuring that customers are happy with both product and service that they receive
- Technical proficiency with products and services offered
- Communicating with the sales and production team to drive customer satisfaction and delivery performance
- Updating all customer contacts in the CRM

**About You**:
We are looking for someone with minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (customer service, Sales support). You will have excellent communication & organisational skills, able to multi-task and prioritise well, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & the ability to touch type. A good problem solver, you will thrive working under pressure & strive to meet Sales targets.

Previous experience with timber will be highly regarded.
