**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Alumni Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our Alumni and Community Relations team. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-impact, University-wide engagement program that supports strategic goals and fosters lifelong relationships with alumni and community members.
**Curtin alumni** are individuals who have completed their studies at Curtin University and have moved on to pursue careers or further education. They form a valuable network of graduates across the globe who have benefited from their time at Curtin and are vital stakeholders who can contribute to supporting the University's mission and vision.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Lead and manage a dedicated team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate the operational delivery of mass Alumni and community engagement initiatives.
- Ensure quality service delivery through effective staff planning, mentoring, training, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement through operational planning and process refinement.
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of services and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on team performance against key metrics and service objectives.
- Manage allocated alumni engagement programs, cultivating meaningful relationships with alumni and key partners.
- Represent University Advancement at external events to build networks that benefit the institution.
**Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria**:
You are an experienced engagement professional who thrives in people-focused environments. With excellent leadership and communication skills, you can effectively manage a team and deliver high-quality outcomes. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building relationships that drive Alumni and community engagement**.**
- Proven leadership or team coordination experience, ideally within a higher education or not-for-profit setting.
- Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills.
- Ability to build positive internal and external relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience in customer-focused service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Raiser’s Edge) and budget monitoring.
- A commitment to advancing the mission and values of the University.
**Role Requirements**:
