From major and principal gifts, bequests, creative stewardship, annual/regular giving, capital campaigns and supporting philanthropic research. We are focused on strengthening our alumni engagement via expansion of our alumni networks and actively engaging our alumni and the broader community through innovative communication strategies, events, and engagement programs in preparation for our 50-year anniversary and beyond.

Your Role - Philanthropic Research Analyst

Join our philanthropy team as a vital Philanthropic Research Analyst, collaborating closely with the Director and Manager, Alumni & Philanthropy. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategies to fortify the principal and major gift prospect/donor pipeline.

You will take the lead in coordinating a prospect management framework that aligns seamlessly with our philanthropic initiatives such as working alongside fundraisers to enhance their cultivation and solicitation strategies, contributing significantly to the success of our fundraising endeavours.

What you’ll bring to this role
- Graduate qualification with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education.
- Proven experience in prospect research and analysis within education or the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of major fundraising, the fundraising cycle, and wealth indicators.
- Hands-on experience in data analytics, including predictive modelling and data mining.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, high computer proficiency, and a commitment to service-oriented, outcome-driven approaches.
