Talent International is currently recruiting for an **EL2 Executive Officer **to work for one of our **Federal Government clients** based in **Surry Hills**.** **The position is **12**-**month contract role with the possibility of extension** and are paying **$731.25 per day + Super**.

7.6 per hour and 38 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Directing enquiries and requests from the CEO, Board and other channels to appropriate areas and providing advice to the ELT on responses.
- Supporting the coordination of input into reports and projects developed by the ELT.
- Drafting papers for internal governance committees, the CEO, Minister, the Board, and others.
- Providing reporting to the Board, Sub-Committees and to the Executive Management Group via papers sponsored by the ELT.
- Facilitating the provision of advice from the ELT to others within the Agency, and assisting with the passage of documents for clearance.
- Ensuring items for clearance are submitted on time, and process and compliance standards across key functional areas are met.
- Overseeing and managing the ELT executive budget, procurements and recruitment exercises.
- Overseeing Agency governance matters including QTBs, Senate Estimates Briefs and Ministerial correspondence.

(NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time)

**Essential Requirements**:

- Manage responses to ministerial/CEO queries and to review presentations
- Have oversight of action plan within AAT Case Management
- Have the ability to review, edit and update guidance material
- Have excellent writing skills and experience in quality assurance
- To drive continuous improvement in the Branch
- Management of escalations, complaints and deadlines.
