**The Company**
Our client is a global household name, and operates in the mining space.

They are currently going through a period of change, focusing on process optimisation outside of data capture, and as a result are looking for a capable and passionate Business Analyst during this transformation.

**The Role**
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain, enhance and support deployed automation software by performing effective analysis, design, development and testing to meet business requirements.

Mining experience is not required.

**Duties**
- Work with multiple areas of the business to build and deliver process automation documentation and do Benefit Analysis
- Assess current processes and identify best course of action/product for automation
- Engage with stakeholders within HQ to understand their needs
- Brief the development team
- Prepare the implementation, documentation and work with training and roll out of new product releases and enhancements
- Ability to scope out projects, and engage heavily with the SMEs and leads in the project spaces, ensuring confidence and outcomes that meet not only the end users needs

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with forms and workflow technology An understanding of Agile methodology
- Experience working within environments that encompass cloud based technologies
- Experience with working in an environment that is tracked via an incident management tool

**Experience/Competencies**
- Great communication skills, excite people for change
- Solid technology background with in-depth knowledge of related practices
- Automation knowledge and market awareness
- Knowledge of Innovation methodologies and tool kits
- Aptitude in architecting software and designing technical solutions
- Experience with source code control (Git), code review workflows, and software versioning models
- Familiarity with a structured/controlled development environment using a tracking tool (JIRA)
- Proficiency with writing and maintaining technical documentation via a shared portal (Confluence, Wiki)
- Demonstrated experience in common programming technologies
