**About The Role**:
Are you ready to elevate your expertise in automation testing? Compare the Market is looking for a skilled Automation Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our software solutions. Collaborating closely with development and product teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our services.

As the Automation Test Analyst, you'll leverage your strong background in test automation frameworks and tools, as well as your comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle. You'll be instrumental in driving our automation testing strategy, contributing to both the development and continuous improvement of our testing processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical skills with collaborative teamwork, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test cases and analyse test results.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
- Implement best practices for test automation and continuously improve testing processes.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all features and components.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient software releases.
- Monitor and report on test automation execution and results.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both new and existing functionalities.
- Document and report defects, providing detailed steps and evidence for reproducibility.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members in best practices for automation testing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and share knowledge with the team.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline is preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in automation testing, with a focus on developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is preferred.
