State government organisation is seeking a Desktop support Analyst for an ASAP start.

**Your new company**

Your new company is a State Government organisation seeking to find an experienced Desktop Support Analyst for an ASAP start. It is an initial 2-month contract.

**Your new role**

You will help with the delivery of physical support as required and completion of various forms supporting processes. You will be creating, maintaining and supporting processes, documentation and knowledge base entries.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Experience in installing and configuring hardware as well as knowledge of desktop computing environments including hardware, operating systems and standard software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tickets including tracking, monitoring, following up, prioritising, escalating incidents and managing with suitable resources to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills, particularly in discussing technical matters with non-technical individuals.
- Experience in ITIL processes and procedures is an advantage.
