An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse to progress to a leadership role in the 6 Theatre complex with an Endoscopy suite at a private hospital in Sydney. It is an Afternoon Theatre Floor Coordinator role - Permanent Part-time or Full-time.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Floor Coordinator, you will facilitate the smooth operation of the department with a can-do attitude and strong customer service focus. Additional responsibilities include building strong relationships with staff, offering expert guidance and mentoring emphasising safety, opportunity, education and standards, coordination of care and services between DSU, Theatre, CSSD and Recovery and facilitating all elective and emergency procedures after hours.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current AHPRA registration;
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical perioperative experience;
- Ability to cover PM shifts from Monday to Friday;
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of perioperative services with a sound understanding of the ACORN Standards;
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service;
- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads;
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience;

The Hospital, located in the Sutherland Shire, is a modern acute facility offering a full range of specialties, including cardiology, orthopaedics, general surgery, colorectal surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, respiratory therapy and vascular surgery. Radiology and pathology services are also available on-site.
