**The Role**:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer is a key role in the Business Services Team and is accountable for supporting the Payables process across all Business Units in GWF. This role makes it easy for our customers by having a strong service delivery focus and is accountable to ensure internal service level agreements are met, and internal & external customer satisfaction is maximised. A key focus of the role is to support accounts payable tasks in a cost effective, timely and competent manner in accordance with GWF/ABF financial control framework, policies, procedures and aligned Service Level Agreements.

**On a day-to-day basis, you will**:

- Effectively manage the payment process ensuring suppliers are paid to terms (approximately 17,000 supplier invoices monthly)
- Supervise completion of timely and detailed month end checklist requirements
- Use initiative to resolve individual invoice discrepancies and devise new processes to address recurring patterns
- Perform root cause analysis where manual invoice verifications consistently occur (vendor review, engagement, and resolution)

**About you**:

- 3+ years Accounts Payable experience at a senior level
- Tertiary qualification's desirable in Business/Accounting or similar
- SAP ERP experience and demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A passion for building relationships, with strong written and oral communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Highly self-motivated with an analytical outlook and strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Curious and creative by nature, demonstrating learning agility whilst driving a continuous culture of improvement.
- Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to self-prioritise to manage multiple tasks at once.
