**Position description**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a highly reputable global basis on an immediate basis. You will be working within a supportive accounts payable team and have excellent flexibility with working arrangements (work from home role). The hours are 8.30am-5pm with a half hour lunch break.

Our client requires someone who can begin immediately or within 1 week's notice.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Handling the AP mailbox
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries

**The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable Officer role, as well as the following attributes**:

- Prior experience within a high volume, end to end Accounts Payable role
- High attention to detail
- Experience using a large ERP system is essential, SAP is an advantage
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
