This market leading construction company based in North Ryde is looking for a Accounts Payable Officer to come in and join the team on a permanent basis. This company offers on the job training and career progression. There is also the flexibility to WFH

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for:

- Scan, verify and archive invoices with a high regard to accuracy and timeliness.
- Check and process invoices, interfaced transactions, credit notes and other transactions including credit cards entries
- Resolve accounts payable enquiries in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinating the effective resolution of aged purchase orders including open orders, orders receipted awaiting invoice and mismatches
- Pro - actively communicating with Suppliers to effectively resolving Supplier matters
- Supporting continuous improvement of accounts payable processes

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have 1-2 years experience working in a similar position. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously. You will have the ability to work to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal contacts and external suppliers.
