Support the running of facility inspections and certifications, and provide general physical security advice.

Your new company, in recent months, have gone through a growth period and are looking to welcome a Defence Physical Security Team Leader to the team.
**Your new role**
In your new role as a Defence Physical Security Team Leader you will conduct inspections and advise on the design of security zones. Alongside this your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and assisting their team conducting scheduled PSA activities
- Advising on the design of security zones for units
- Conducting inspections and certifications
- Enabling the Certifying Authority function
- Providing quality control for their team’s deliverables
- Conducting Tranche three activities
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role within the Defence industry as well as:
- Understanding and experience of the physical security environment
- Experience conducting liaison with external agencies.
- Resource Management competencies.
- An understanding of Security Constructed Equipment - Security Alarms / Locking Systems / Containers / Doors etc
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a NV2 security clearance.
